With Microsoft discontinuing the support of all SharePoint Prem intranets in 2026, law firms need to transition to the newer SharePoint Online platform.
As a result, this firm sought to ensure that its new intranet platform would provide a more intuitive, seamless experience for users, enabling them to easily navigate and quickly access the information they needed with minimal effort.

Our Approach
Discovery
I collaborated closely with multiple departments across the firm, conducting in-depth interviews to gain a comprehensive understanding of the users' needs, pain points, and expectations. These insights were crucial in shaping the project's direction.
Information Architecture
Following the stakeholder interviews, we undertook a complete redesign of the firm's information architecture (IA), ensuring it was optimized for usability and accessibility.
Creative Process
In addition to restructuring the IA, we designed key pages that not only aligned with the firm's branding but also prioritized user experience. The design approach was centered on creating a modern, intuitive interface that was both visually engaging and action-oriented, streamlining workflows and helping users find the information they need with greater efficiency. This redesign aimed to not only enhance day-to-day usability but also ensure the intranet could evolve with the firm’s future needs.
